The Docket ("we," "this site") is a satirical entertainment website. This page explains what little data passes through it and how it's used.
What you submit
When you file a case, the complaint text you type is sent to a third-party AI provider (Groq) solely to generate your ruling. We don't store your complaints or rulings on our own servers, and we don't ask for or collect your name, email, or any other identifying information to use the site.
Cookies & advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll be shown a consent banner where you can accept or decline this before any personalized ads are shown.

Analytics
We use a basic, privacy-friendly analytics tool (Vercel Analytics) to see anonymous page-view counts. It doesn't use cookies to track you individually across sites.
Payments
If you choose to use the optional "Bribe the Judge" feature or send a tip, payments are processed entirely by Stripe or Ko-fi on their own secure pages. We never see or store your card details — those platforms handle that directly under their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
